This is the first time I have heard of the Amazon Fire Phone! It seems like an interesting idea. However, I am wondering how this product will fare against its huge competitors (Apple and Samsung). Considering the fact that these companies have loyal, large fan bases. I am wondering how Amazon is going to market their phone to stand out against its competitors? Lower prices, more apps, better camera or speaker?

DeleteI agree with you about the strong competition out there for Amazon when it comes to smartphone market sharing. I myself and many out there I believe are loyal and big fans of the services and products Amazon offer so far.

I'm also wondering how this phone will compare against the well known established smart phone makers. It seems like every one i know has an Iphone or a galaxy. The first thing that i thought of when i looked at this blog was the windows phone. Microsoft is a large corporation and they are well regarded as one of the great technological companies in the word but i don't think have much influence when it comes to smartphones. Is this whats going to happen with the Amazon fire phone?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Its hard to break the minds of iPhone users and Galaxy users. The Windows phone was seemingly a flop. I haven't seen one of their commercials in a while. The iPhone and Galaxy phones are going to continue to be atop of the smartphone market. I hope this phone doesn't flop like the Window's phone because it looks pretty cool.
DeleteI think it is great time to do a marketing plan regarding Amazon fire phone because Amazon just introduced unlimited access to books on Kindle, and I assume it will definitely come to the fire phone sometime in the future as one of the default features! As being ISDS and marketing major myself, I am really interested in how this topic goes from now on!
ReplyDeleteDid you know Amazon Prime membership can get FREE music now too? which means Fire Phone will allow you to have a library of you favorite songs on the go at no extra cost. We are glad you're interested in the project.
DeleteI still have serious doubts about this phone i just don't think that it is fulfilling a societal want or need.
ReplyDeleteThe iPhone and Samsung Galaxy already do every thing we need them to and considering what the Fire Phone is bringing to the table i don't see it adding any benefit to my life.
i have heard about the fire phone a couple of times. i watched some a little bit when Jeff Bezos was revealing the phone. i did not really get to see what features the phone had beside the 3d cameras. i would be interested to hear more about the phone and what you guys got to share .
ReplyDeleteApple and Samung are pretty tough competitors,but I saw the commercial for the Amazon Fire and it does seem interesting. Maybe consumers will get tired of the same old products and try this phone.I do like that they have a better camera, you know our generation loves taking pictures.
ReplyDeletePeople may keep changing their mind on which smart phone they gonna purchase next, on lest those brand loyalty people. I think the features of the smartphone is very important for people to decide which phone they gonna pick and Fire phone's 3D cameras function might attract many customer because feature is very interesting and no other phones have it.
