Amazon Fire Phone Review

YA!!!!! Finally, we all finished all classes in the summer semester. Here I am going to share a video to you to see what customers have to say about Amazon Fire phone. It just takes you three minutes and thirteen seconds. Please check out the video below.

Some people like Fire phone, but the other don’t. Whether people like Amazon Fire phone or not, we should respect their opinions and views as well as identify the Fire phone’s problems, fixing and solving it. What about you? In addition, comparing between Fire Phone and Apple iPhone 5s, we discovered that the price of Fire Phone is less expensive than Apple’s iPhone 5s, and Fire Phone’s quality is not worse than Apple’s. You can see two-year contract of Fire Phone, which is $199.99 with 32 GB. However, Apple’s two-year contract is $199.99 with 16 GB. In addition, we have an advanced camera, a long battery life, high resolution, and impressive features. Customers, who buy Fire Phone, can get more benefits, so promotions and features are our strategies to attract people to buy our product. Does that make you want to buy a Fire Phone?

When people first say Amazon, everyone probably would be related to shopping, not smartphone. According to our survey, many people still do not know Amazon is going to launch a smartphone, called Fire Phone. However, we could not doubt that most people shop on Amazon. If you buy Fire Phone, you can get a full year of free Prime membership. Actually, we discussed what benefits Prime members could get from the previous post. You can check it out if you did not read it yet. So Prime is one of benefits you can get from Fire Phone.

In addition, we discover that most people want a long battery life based on our survey, so it is a chance that you can experience a very long battery life from Fire Phone.

Does that attract you? Although we know we have a very strong competitor Apple, if you do not try, you never know you can make it or not. How will Fire phone benefit you as a college student?

How is it different from Apple and Samsung?

The Amazon Fire phone employs Android system and has several additional apps built-in the smartphone. If you are one of the "Android People," you won't need to worry about how many extra budget you need to spend for every single app. Unlike Apple’s iOS, Android People can enjoy many apps they want for free! Amazon’s Fire’s additional functions include cloud services with unlimited photo streaming, a content-forward user interface, built-in media libraries, productivity apps, and platform enhancements to integrate Amazon's digital content and improve performance.
Moreover, the Fire phone will have a new feature called Dynamic Perspective that uses a new sensor system to respond to the way you hold, view, and move Fire. The Dynamic Perspective also allows one-handed reading -- with auto-scroll, the user can scan long web pages without ever having to touch the screen.
It also has a better viewing indoors and out. Fire phone's 4.7" HD display features dynamic image contrast, a wide viewing angle, circular polarizer, and an industry-leading ultra-bright display at 590 nits, making it easy to see in all lighting conditions. The function lets students read books on Fire Phone easier as well.

Fire Phone's Features

Did you know that Amazon's Fire is going to be released next week?  Yes! The release date is on Friday, July 25th! Our group is excited to share with you what the Fire Phone has in store for you.

Amazon has been developing this new smartphone for years and has been making prototypes and changes since 2012 to ensure customer satisfaction. The Fire Phone is the first of "several planned own-brand smartphones," according to Amazon (Lloyd).

So what makes Fire Phone different from other smartphones? 

It has a unique feature called "Dynamic Perspective" where there is a combination of sensor and four front-facing cameras that track the user's head for 3D effects enhancement and gesture controls. The user's movements will create pictures and other things on-screen shift their position as the user's head moves, thus building a more 3D experience. The user can also tilt the phone to scroll, launch menus, and display new information such as restaurant ratings from the app Yelp!

The Fire will have a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, dual stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel rear camera and front-facing camera for video chatting. The new smartphone also offers unlimited cloud-based photo storage, so you won't ever have to worry about deleting photos and videos.

Also, Fire phone delivers up to 285 hours of standby time, up to 22 hours of talk time, up to 65 hours of audio playback, and up to 11 hours of video playback.

Another special feature is Firefly, which uses the camera to scan barcodes on products and pull them up in Amazon's store. Moreover, it can also listen to music or TV shows and recognize phone numbers and email addresses as well.

Amazon Introduces "Fire Phone"

Amazon.com is the most visited online shopping website in the United States in the recent years. By 2011, Amazon had tens of millions of prime members as customers get to enjoy 2-day free shipping, Kindle owners lending library, and unlimited video streaming! In June 2014, Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, introduced its first smartphone called the Fire Phone. 




As a marketing group, our main goal is to offer Amazon a marketing plan that will help promote its new product and provide strategies that will help the company increase sales. 

Our target market will be generation X and Y, specifically college students. We plan to promote our products through TV commercials, social media, and search engine optimization. Our main competitors will be Apple and Samsung. In the marketing plan, we will introduce Fire Phone and its special functions that will set it apart from other smartphones. 

 Some of its unique features are:

● 3D Dynamic Perspective with 4 front-facing cameras

● Unlimited photo storage (cloud)

● Firefly technology that is able to scan and locate real objects on Amazon

● MayDay (Amazon’s award-winning customer service)
